About Blue Sea Pictures
Blue Sea Pictures is a Film and TV Production company based in, and working out of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We pride ourselves in our transparent goals and work ethic, as we push for a bigger and better Film and TV industry in the North East of England. Our founders are Benny J, and Lucy T. Sparrow, two Northern born filmmakers with a passion for story telling.
As well as creating our own personal projects, Company Directors, Lucy and Benny have gathered credits as Line- Producers on movies with massive talent such as Martin Freeman, Josh Hutcherson, Malin Ackerman and Jason Isaacs. When producing these movies, they were in charge of the £200,000 budget, gaining extremely important experience in managing larger budget projects. After a year of producing such movies, Lucy and Benny have gained useful friends and contacts across the industry. This puts Blue Sea Pictures in a unique position, where we are able to attach large talent to our films by going to the actors directly. This development, alongside a bank of producers and investors at our fingertips, makes Blue Sea Pictures a vital player in the fight for Northern filmmaking.
